My name is Renee.

I am a mother, a teacher, a musician, designer and artist. I love music, art, colour and light. I love dreaming and creating. My favourite weather is cold and stormy and my favourite time is sunset. I love my family, friends and my two little dogs PoppySeed and Sesame. Photography is how I meld all these loves together.

I began taking photos seriously in 2011 when, after two years of living in China I bought myself a decent DSLR and began documenting my journey. My love for photographing places soon developed into a passion for photographing the people who I met in them.

I create my portraits to be timeless and classic. They capture tiny moments, evoke emotions and document precious memories. They are pieces to hang on a wall - to walk past and smile at everyday - to cherish forever.
